Food Service Salesperson (KC)

Due to growth we are currently seeking several energetic Sales people to join our thriving team. Working with the benefit of our stellar reputation in the industry, this role is geared for a strong sales person willing to think strategically, someone who has grown sales before, and is not satisfied with status quo. Duties and Responsibilities of this role will include :

  • Staying up-to-date on current product offerings
  • Managing existing customer relations
  • Bringing in new business by actively prospecting
  • Develop and maintain a growing sales territory
  • Maintain a familiarity with competitors’ products and services
  • Hold yourself accountable to their numbers
  • Create and maintain customer relationships
  • Follow our sales process
  • Additional duties as needed for sales success

Qualifications for the position include:

  • 3 years of previous sales experience, 1 year of experience in Food Sales a plus
  • High School degree or GED required, Bachelor's degree is beneficial
  • Must be able to think strategically and develop long-term plans and relationships
  • Willingness to work on some Saturday mornings
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking skills; able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Ability to research and provide proactive solutions
  • Superior closing skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other computer software programs as needed
